Some women are born with breasts that are asymmetrical or do not ideally fit their frame. Others, through the process of aging or through weight fluctuations, pregnancy, and nursing, find that, with time, their breasts no longer compliment their body. In both of these instances, South Carolina plastic surgeon Dr. Ted Vaughn can assess your frame and customize your breast augmentation procedure to meet your aesthetic desires.
If you are considering breast augmentation, please contact Piedmont Plastic Surgery or call 864-223-0505 today to schedule an initial consultation with Dr. Ted Vaughn.
When to Consider Breast Augmentation
Breast augmentation is a personal decision and there is no single “best age” for the procedure. If you are unhappy with the size, shape, or symmetry of your breasts, now would be the best age to consider breast augmentation.
There are, of course, certain considerations such as your future plans for pregnancy, but these are best discussed in person with Dr. Vaughn during your initial consultation. It is also important to remember that silicone breast implants, which may look and feel more natural, are only available to women over the age of 22.
To learn if you are a good candidate for breast augmentation, please contact our board-certified South Carolina plastic surgeon today. Dr. Vaughn provides breast augmentation for women living in Greenwood, Greenville, Anderson, Columbia, and Laurens, South Carolina, as well as the Augusta, Georgia area.
